New job in 2009.
In 2011, I plan to post information and my thoughts on a variety of topics. First step will be to develop a plan with a time line. Soon.

First Blog
Greetings! I am new at blogging, but hope to develop an interesting site for friends and family (and anyone else interested enough). This first post is from South Fort Walton Beach, Florida where we are spending a week of vacation. This break from the routine has given me an opportunity to create this blog.
This is more or less a personal blog. I also plan to develop a blog more related to my professional activities, but I anticipate just as my personal and professional lives overlap or intertwine, so may my blogs.
I'll try to post pictures from our trip.
I enjoyed the NCAA basketball championship game last night. I didn't really have a favorite in the game, so it was great to just watch as a fan of the sport. This Kansas team will be a great for coaches of all sports to hold up as an example of what you can accomplish if you don't give up, even when it looks like a contest is out of reach. Overall, even though my favorites, the Indiana Hoosiers, didn't play much of a role in this year's tournament, it was still an engaging and entertaining year. It was great to have 4 teams from Indiana in the field of 65 -- it may be a few years before we see that again.
